Description
- Deliver ongoing IFRS 9 reporting for the UK balance sheet, including review/challenge of reporting solutions and supporting a streamlined reporting process
- Perform monthly expected credit loss pack reviews: reasonableness checks and variance analysis
- Provide technical review of key outputs (IFRS & FINREP credit disclosures, Encumbrance, PRA108) and perform quarterly supplementary reporting reviews
- Run data quality and remediation activities: validate impairment outputs, analyse complex datasets, support automation projects and data-quality fixes
- Own and operate controls (SOX) and help embed/improve the IFRS 9 reporting control framework.
- Demonstrable experience working within a UK bank / large financial services / IFRS reporting environment
- Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA
- Strong IFRS 9 experience
- Regulatory and financial reporting experience, including experience interpreting requirements such as FINREP and PRA returns
- SOX controls
- Advanced analytical and data remediation experience
- Experience of building, influencing, and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders
- A salary of £90,000 to £120,000, dependent on the level of experience.
