As Senior Manager Global Mobility (m/f/d) you are accountable for the strategic design, governance, and operational excellence of the company’s global mobility programs in alignment with the VPCBM. This role provides expert leadership across international assignments, permanent transfers, short\-term assignments, localization, and cross\-border employment models ensuring compliance with tax, immigration, social security and labor law of both home, and host countries.

Global Mobility Strategy Governance
- Define and continuously evolve the global mobility strategy aligned with business, talent, and cost objectives.
- Develop policies, governance frameworks, and approval processes while monitoring external trends to enhance programs.
- Oversee end\-to\-end global mobility operations, including assignment lifecycle management and complex cases.
- Drive cost control, budgeting, and continuous improvement through data, processes, and systems.
- Ensure compliance with global tax, immigration, employment, and payroll regulations.
- Mitigate risks through collaboration with advisors and leadership of audits and regulatory processes.
- Advise senior leaders and HR on cross\-border mobility solutions and workforce deployment strategies.
- Align mobility programs with total rewards and provide clear guidance to managers and assignees.
- Manage global vendor strategy, including selection, contracting, and performance oversight.
- Ensure service quality, cost efficiency, and consistent employee experience across regions.
- Lead, develop, and empower the global mobility team while setting clear objectives.
- Provide mentorship, handle escalations, and strengthen global HR capabilities in mobility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field
- Extensive experience in global mobility, international assignments, and cross\-border employment, in a multinational environment.
- Proven leadership experience managing programs, vendors, and teams across regions.
- Deep knowledge of international tax, immigration, social security, labor law related to international assignments and employment risk concepts.
- Strong financial acumen, including assignment costing, budgeting, and cost governance.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Fluent in German with a strong knowledge of German laws essential.
