We are seeking to hire experienced Solution Architect(s) within our AI Scaling and Transformation team, which is a centre of excellence in Deloitte's Engineering, AI \& Data service offering.

You will be working with clients and other third parties, as well as Deloitte teams from across the Firm. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of interesting, international, and world\-leading clients who are navigating an evolving marketplace where data\-driven and AI\-powered solutions are transforming the way organisations operate. This technology has the potential to unlock new business value, drive innovation, and deliver measurable impact across industries. You will combine technical expertise with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.

As a Solution Architect in the AI \& Data team, you will design and deliver robust, scalable, and innovative data and AI solutions to address our clients’ most pressing business challenges.

Your Role

  • Engage directly with senior client stakeholders and internal leadership teams to shape, define, and deliver data and AI strategies aligned with business objectives.

  • Lead the end\-to\-end architecture and design of complex data and AI solutions, including data integration, data engineering, analytics, machine learning, and cloud deployment.

  • Oversee the implementation of secure, scalable, and high\-performance data platforms and AI systems, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance solution capabilities and drive continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross\-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business analysts, to ensure seamless delivery and operationalisation of solutions.

  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, innovation, and delivery excellence.

We are looking for candidates who are able to demonstrate skills and experience in some of the following:

EDUCATION \& EXPERIENCE

  • Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related discipline; advanced degrees are advantageous.

  • Outstanding candidates with strong quantitative, engineering, or technology backgrounds in a relevant field will also be considered.

  • Significant experience designing, architecting, and delivering enterprise\-scale data and AI solutions, including experience leading technical teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships.

  • Demonstrated expertise in applying data and AI technologies within regulated or data\-intensive industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, public sector, or similar).

  • Evidence of thought leadership in data and AI, such as publications, conference presentations, or contributions to open\-source projects, is highly desirable.

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent) and completion of technical courses in data engineering, cloud architecture, or AI/ML are advantageous.
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY
  • Proven track record of leading the end\-to\-end design and implementation of complex, production\-grade data and AI solutions; evidence of real\-world business impact is highly valued.

  • Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala) and familiarity with data engineering and analytics frameworks (e.g., Spark, SQL, Databricks, Hadoop).

  • Experience architecting and deploying solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including use of cloud\-native data and AI services.

  • Solid understanding of data modelling, data integration, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data governance best practices.

  • Familiarity with machine learning lifecycle management, including MLOps principles, CI/CD for data and AI, model monitoring, and governance frameworks.

  • Experience with data security, privacy, and compliance requirements in enterprise environments.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non\-technical audiences.

  • Experience working in agile, cross\-functional teams and mentoring junior team members is highly desirable.
