Senior Management Accountant
An established and growing media business is seeking an ambitious Senior Management Accountant to join its high-performing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant either from practice or industry experience to accelerate their development within a collaborative, social and commercially focused environment.
Working within the revenue team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of key financial reporting processes across the business. The role offers exposure to complex accounting areas, senior stakeholder interaction and the opportunity to quickly become a key member of a supportive finance team.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of complex accounting areas including returns provisions and deferred income
- Managing stock valuation accounting, additions and provisioning
- Managing revenue data input into reporting system
- Leading the critical month-end interface process
- Supporting half-year and year-end reporting
- Performing detailed reconciliations and ensuring reporting accuracy
- Developing a strong understanding of key revenue and reporting processes across the business
- Collaborating closely with the wider finance team and operational stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely reporting
We're keen to speak with candidates who:
- Are CCAB newly or recently qualified in practice or industry
- Possess strong knowledge/experience of complex reconciliations
- Are proactive, enthusiastic and seeking continuous improvement
- Have confidence handling complex accounting areas
- Are collaborative and have a social personality with the ability to build strong relationships
- Hybrid and flexible working with minimum two days in office, ideally three.
