Senior Maintenance Technician

<h2><strong>In a nutshell</strong></h2>
<p>As a <strong>Senior Maintenance Technician </strong>at our Fulfilment Center in Dordrecht/Ridderkerk, you are a key part of the maintenance team. You independently troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, coach and support fellow technicians during their shifts, and take the lead in improving and optimizing our systems.</p>
<p>You take full ownership of the uptime of our automated processes, drive structural improvements, and ensure everything continues to run smoothly. Your experience, knowledge, and initiative make a real difference to the team and to the tens of thousands of orders that need to reach our customers on time every day.</p>
<h2><strong>Your responsibilities </strong></h2>
<ul>
<li><strong>Lead &amp; coach:</strong> Support, guide, and coach your team during the shift while ensuring a safe and well-structured working environment.</li>
<li><strong>Analyze &amp; resolve breakdowns:</strong> Troubleshoot and efficiently resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues in collaboration with colleagues and suppliers.</li>
<li><strong>Manage supplier relationships:</strong> Work closely with machine suppliers’ service desks to resolve highly complex technical issues.</li>
<li><strong>Preventive maintenance:</strong> Plan and perform preventive maintenance to maximize system availability.</li>
<li><strong>Drive continuous improvement:</strong> Initiate improvement projects and implement technical optimizations for our automated systems.</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>About you</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>You have a technical diploma at MBO level 3 or higher.</li>
<li>You have 5+ years of experience in maintenance or technical services.</li>
<li>You have practical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including measurement systems, camera systems, and control technology.</li>
<li>You have leadership ambitions and are eager to further develop your coaching skills, bringing out the best in your team and encouraging knowledge sharing.</li>
<li>You have experience with CMMS or EAM systems; knowledge of ICS/SCADA tools is a plus.</li>
