Senior Logistics Manager: Large-Scale Office & Commercial Fit-Out

About the Role

LLS Logistics is looking for an experienced Senior Logistics Manager with experience in large\-scale office and commercial fit\-out projects. You will take overall responsibility for planning, organising and implementing all on\-site logistical processes, making sure the site runs safely, efficiently and in line with statutory requirements and company policies and procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and implement the site's logistics strategy from mobilisation through to handover


• Manage deliveries and waste management, including booking systems, loading areas and delivery programmes


• Oversee traffic management, including vehicle and pedestrian segregation


• Manage site security, access and egress systems


• Coordinate the storage of materials on site, including multi\-floor and live building environments


• Maintain welfare areas and pedestrian routes through the site


• Lead, manage and develop the logistics team, including logistics coordinators, traffic and fire marshals, and site operatives


• Resolve complex logistics issues and risks before they affect the programme


• Liaise with project managers, contracts managers, building management, the supply chain and other stakeholders


• Ensure the site is managed in accordance with statutory requirements and company policies and procedures

Essential

• Proven track record as a Logistics Manager within a sub\-contractor role


• Experience of logistics on large\-scale office and commercial fit\-out projects


• Ability to deal with complex logistics issues


• Knowledge and understanding of safety procedures


• Leadership skills and experience in managing people


• Strong team player with excellent communication skills


• Good time management and organisational skills


• Stable employment history


• IT skills


• Valid CSCS card


• SMSTS


• First Aid Certificate


• Traffic Marshall and Fire Marshall tickets


• Right to work in the UK

• NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management
