Job Overview
You will play a central role within the legal function, providing support across regulatory matters, commercial contracts and a broad range of general legal work. Acting as a trusted business partner, you will work closely with the Legal, Risk and Compliance team as well as stakeholders across sales, product and senior leadership. A collaborative approach and the ability to operate effectively within a global organisation are essential to success in this position.

Responsibilities
As a senior member of the legal team, you will provide timely and practical legal support to commercial and operational teams across the business.
Your contract management responsibilities will include:
- Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of agreements including client contracts, service agreements, data and licensing contracts, confidentiality agreements, intragroup arrangements and information security addendums.
- Reviewing and updating existing agreements to reflect new products, services or emerging risks.
- Preparing fee letters for bespoke commercial arrangements.
- Keeping contracts current in line with evolving market standards.
- Building and maintaining internal guidance materials and contract templates for use by the wider business.
- Continuously looking for ways to improve and streamline contracting processes.
- Collaborating with legal colleagues across different countries and jurisdictions.
- Supporting the broader legal team with general legal matters as required.
- 4–7 years' experience working within an in-house legal team.
- A solid background in financial services.
- A commercial, business-focused mindset.
- Self-sufficient and accountable in your approach to work.
- Capable of delivering accurate work to tight deadlines.
- Adaptable and quick to pick up new priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
