Senior Key Account Manager

We are now looking for a Senior Key Account Manager to lead our commercial growth in Lisbon, Portugal.
This is not a development role.
We are looking for a senior commercial professional who already:
- knows the Portuguese construction market,
- has an established network,
- can open doors quickly,
- and generate business within the first months.
You will engage directly with: Architects; Developers; Main Contractors; Subcontractors; Engineering Consultants.
This role combines: Business Development; Technical \& Specification Sales; Strategic Account Management; On\-site project engagement.
We are looking for a hunter with a consultant mindset: commercially driven, technically credible, and comfortable both on construction sites and in front of senior decision\-makers.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and develop new commercial opportunities across Portugal
- Build and manage a strategic project pipeline
- Negotiate and close commercial agreements
- Develop long\-term relationships with strategic clients
- Identify upsell and cross\-sell opportunities
- Engage architects and consultants at early design stages
- Position Effisus solutions in project specifications
- Conduct technical presentations, site visits, and mock\-up installations
- Work closely with the technical team to deliver project solutions
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Represent Effisus at industry events and trade fairs
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales or business development within construction or building materials
- Strong network in the Portuguese construction market
- Proven success managing complex B2B accounts
- Fluent Portuguese and English
- Based in the Greater Lisbon Area
- Hands\-on commercial approach and strong field presence
- Experience in: Building Envelope, Façades, Waterproofing, Insulation, Membranes, Sealants, Airtightness systems
- Experience working with international companies or multinationals
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Engineering
- CRM experience (Zoho preferred)
