Project
A Developer role focused on the evolution of an application managing financial statements referential data. The application is connected to external public and market\-data providers and includes capabilities for capturing data from non\-structured documents.
The mission is to improve data quality and consistency across multiple referential data sources, reduce reporting discrepancies, accelerate time\-to\-market and enable faster, more accurate business insights. The role combines backend development, architecture, data management and collaboration with end\-users to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
Role
- Design and develop back\-end architectures that are scalable, secure and maintainable
- Contribute to the evolution of an application managing financial statements referential data
- Develop and maintain solutions integrated with external data providers
- Implement data exposure solutions through APIs and related services
- Apply Spring framework best practices in application development
- Industrialize solutions following CI/CD best practices
- Ensure application quality through testing and development standards
- Participate in application validation phases with end\-users
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle
- Contribute to data quality, consistency and reporting reliability improvements
- Support the adoption of modern development and deployment practices
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and delivery activities
- University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Management or a related field
- Experience in software development and backend application design
- Proficiency in Java Spring
- Advanced SQL knowledge, particularly PostgreSQL
- Experience designing and developing APIs
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles
- Mastery of software development best practices, including CI/CD, microservices, unit testing and version control
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS or IBM Cloud
- Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker
- Experience working with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence and ALM
- Ability to work across multiple responsibilities, combining technical, business analysis and technical leadership activities
- Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills
- Experience with third\-party data integration, data governance or data management (valued)
- Previous banking environment knowledge (valued)
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with end\-users and technical teams
