We’re looking to hire a Senior Java Engineer to join our Team in digital transformation projects.

Project Scope: Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the design, development, and modernization of enterprise applications. Act as a technical reference, supporting the growth of the development team through mentoring, architectural guidance, and engineering best practices.

Mandatory Skills:

  • More than 6 years of experience in Java development and technical leadership.

  • Strong experience with Java, JSF, Hibernate, Oracle, and PrimeFaces.

  • Hands\-on experience with Jenkins and Agile development methodologies.

  • Knowledge of source control and code quality tools such as Git, SonarQube, and JUnit.

  • Experience designing and integrating Web Services (REST and SOAP).

  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with both technical and non\-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with legacy system modernization, migration, or refactoring projects.

  • Java and/or Oracle certifications.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience mentoring and supporting junior and mid\-level developers.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable, high\-quality software solutions.

  • Define technical architectures and development standards.

  • Support continuous integration and delivery processes.

  • Lead technical discussions and contribute to strategic technology decisions.

  • Mentor development teams and promote engineering best practices.

  • Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Lisbon, Portugal

Remarks: Hybrid work model: 1 / 2 days on\-site and 3 days remote.
