Within Project Delivery, you are at the heart of transformation. This function plays a critical role in shaping how DHL evolves its operations, systems, and customer solutions. As a Senior IT Project Manager, you'll work at the intersection of technology and operations leading large\-scale, high\-impact initiatives such as WMS/TMS implementations, automation rollouts, and operational system enhancements. It's a hands\-on environment where success comes from being visible in the operation, engaging stakeholders, and turning complex requirements into deliverable, real\-world outcomes.

✅WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead end\-to\-end delivery of large\-scale, high\-visibility IT and operational projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies

  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders, providing structured communication, progress reporting, and governance at key milestones

  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, driving timely resolution and ensuring minimal impact to operations and customers

  • Oversee change management activities using ACT methodology to ensure successful adoption and realisation of business benefits

  • Lead, coach, and motivate cross\-functional project teams and SMEs, ensuring strong engagement, performance, and accountability
✅WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Proven experience delivering complex IT or systems\-based projects (e.g. WMS, TMS, or operational systems) within a logistics or supply chain environment

  • Strong knowledge of structured project management methodologies (e.g. DePICT) and change management frameworks (e.g. ACT)

  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, business cases, and financial performance, ensuring benefits realisation

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business

  • Hands\-on and proactive approach, with the confidence and capability to work effectively within live operational environments and on\-site settings

  • A recognised project management qualification (e.g. APM) and a track record of delivering projects in fast\-paced, complex environments
