Senior IOS Engineer - SuperApp
<p>The Engagement Mission sits within the SuperApp & Web squad — a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, and designers building the core experience that millions of merchants interact with every day. <br><br>This team owns the home screen of the SumUp Business App: the first thing a merchant sees when they open the app, and the surface that connects them to payments, banking, invoicing, loyalty, and more. We're growing the team because the roadmap is ambitious — new navigation patterns, deeper product integrations, and a full modularisation of the codebase — and we need someone who can hit the ground running and take real ownership from day one.</p>

<h3>What you'll do</h3>
<ul>
<li>Build and maintain core iOS features across the home screen, including first-time user experience, quick actions, widgets, the tools section, and upsell and cross-sell channels</li>
<li>Lead the development of new initiatives end-to-end — from technical design through to shipping — working closely with product, design, and partner engineering teams</li>
<li>Drive the migration to SwiftUI and contribute to the modularisation of our codebase, improving scalability and developer experience</li>
<li>Review code, shape technical decisions, and help raise the bar across the iOS chapter</li>
<li>Collaborate with multiple internal teams to align on feature direction, open pull requests, and deliver in a fast-moving, loosely defined environment</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI, with a track record of building and shipping production iOS features at scale</li>
<li>Experience navigating and refactoring complex, evolving codebases with a focus on clean architecture (MVVM/MVP)</li>
<li>Comfortable working in a cross-functional environment where scope isn't always well-defined and priorities shift quickly</li>
<li>Ability to take full ownership of initiatives independently — from technical scoping through to delivery — without needing close guidance</li>
<li>Experience collaborating across teams where you don't own the product roadmap directly, and are used to aligning with multiple stakeholders to get things shipped</li>
<li>Strong technical writing skills and a habit of writing clear documentation and thoughtful pull requests</li>
