Senior Investment Manager – Renewable Energy (Wind \& BESS) – Germany – Competitive Salary \+ Bonus
The Company: A well\-established, privately owned renewable energy platform operating across development, investment, and asset management within the European market. The business has a strong track record in onshore wind and is actively expanding into new investment opportunities across wind and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
With an operational portfolio in the GW range and clear ambitions to significantly scale capacity over the coming years, the company offers a stable yet entrepreneurial environment, combining technical expertise with strong commercial focus.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Lead the sourcing and execution of investment opportunities across wind and BESS projects, from initial evaluation through to closing.
- Manage full transaction processes, including financial modelling, due diligence coordination, and stakeholder management.
- Structure acquisitions and project financing with investors, banks, and project partners.
- Support and lead negotiations on commercial agreements, including contracts, pricing, and participation structures.
- Act as a key contributor to the investment function, supporting strategy development and mentoring junior team members.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in renewable energy investments, M\&A, or project finance with exposure to wind and/or BESS
- Strong financial modelling skills and transaction experience across the deal lifecycle
- Fluent German \& English
