Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Installations Engineer to oversee the deployment of our cricket simulators. Based in the UK, this role is vital in ensuring our innovative products are installed efficiently and meet quality standards. It will require travel both nationally and internationally to ensure we are supporting our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction
Responsibilities
- Lead on\-site operations in the UK and overseas \- this would involve hands\-on building structures, installing and resolving any issues encountered.
- Liaise with Clients and suppliers on installations, including attending site visits, organising deliveries and educating/guiding clients on customer journey.
- Full responsibility to ensure site visit is conducted, all safety precautions are met, and our products are not being hindered by installations and all is documented
- Drive improvement of Installation documentation for delivery, Go Live support and client handover.
- Proactively identify and remove blockers for the team, taking ownership of the resolution or influencing others to help resolve.
- Sets documented SLA's and ensures these are being met by BatFast team members
- Ensures documented training of new team members correctly and in\-line with recommended and good practices
- Training of client staff on how to use the product and handover to the support team using developed documentation.
- Drive improvement in efficiency, procedures and quality to maximise Batfast revenue and minimise cost
- Lead on operations and manage staff for global projects, installations and events \- ensuring best quality with clear and documented communications
- Manage and support the team effectively with clear objectives, communications and documented progress reviews
- General warehouse and inventory duties, including building production items within our Nottingham base.

- Consistently undertake all tasks with clear objectives, communicating clearly to the wider team to ensure deadlines are met through teamwork.
- Prepare and complete all records where required to create and maintain a foundation of data collection, process and product improvements.

- Mechanical assembly/engineering experience.
- Practical construction or fit\-out experience.
- Experience leading site installations
- Previous experience in a hands\-on installations, fit\-out or project delivery environment (commercial spaces, retail, hospitality or similar)
- Demonstrable project management experience — planning, logistics, scheduling, client handover
- Experience leading or supervising a team in a field\-based or operational setting
- Ability to produce clear operational documentation — risk assessments, handover records, progress reports
- Full clean UK driving licence held for 2\+ years
- Familiarity with H\&S compliance and safe working practices on\-site
- Experience using project management tools (e.g. Monday.com, Asana or similar)
- Knowledge of basic electrical or data systems in an installation context
- Experience managing overseas logistics or working with international clients
- Familiarity with SLA frameworks and service delivery standards
