The Senior HR Advisor acts at Quarto’s key operational partner, bridging strategic HR goals with day\-to\-day employee management. Responsible for providing excellent guidance to stakeholders, managing complex people matters, coaching line managers, ensuring compliance and supporting organisational change.
Main Responsibilities
- Support talent acquisition strategies and end\-to\-end recruitment, developing efficient and effective systems.
- Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring a positive experience for new joiners.
- Support early careers opportunities, including apprenticeships, internships and work experience.
- Provide expert advice on organisational policies and ways of working, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
- Manage complex people cases by supporting our people and providing advice and guidance to managers.
- Guide managers through the performance development cycle and performance improvement process, providing coaching on people management skills to build competency and confidence.
- Monitor people KPI’s and work with managers to identify trends and develop improvement plans.
- Provide support and advice to managers on long\-term and short\-term absence management, including overseeing all occupational health referrals.
- Oversee the monthly payroll process and ensure the integrity and accuracy of data, working closely with the Finance team.
- Identify and implement improvements to HR workflows and processes across the employment lifecycle.
- Ensure policies and procedures are in line with best practice and employment legislation.
- Support the Head of HR with change management projects, including reorganisations.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers, including employee benefits providers, ensuring best value across our range of benefits.
- Work with the Head of HR to drive employee engagement and monitor people health trends across a range of KPI’s.
- Support learning and development activity across the organisation, working with managers to identify needs and deliver solutions.
- Promote an environment of inclusion and belonging, supporting the leadership team to deliver DEI activities.
- Provide advice and guidance to the HR Officer and wider team.

- Proven experience at HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor level, with a strong HR generalist background.
- CIPD level 7 is desirable (Level 5 is a minimum).
- Hands\-on experience leading full range of people matters from grievance, discipline, capability up to redundancy consultation.
- Experience of overseeing payroll processes is desirable.
- Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
