As the organisation's lead HR professional, the HR Business Partner will be responsible for shaping and delivering the people strategy whilst providing a comprehensive, proactive and commercially focused HR service across the business. This standalone role offers the opportunity to influence business performance through effective people management, workforce development and employee engagement initiatives.
Partnering closely with leaders and managers, the HR Business Partner will provide expert guidance on all people\-related matters and ensure the organisation maintains a positive, productive and compliant working environment
Key Responsibilities
· Partnering with leaders to deliver the people strategy and support business objectives
· Managing employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance cases.
· Leading recruitment, selection, onboarding and retention activities
· Developing learning and development initiatives to build organisational capability
· Driving performance management processes and supporting employee growth
· Overseeing HR operations, people data, reporting and process improvement
· Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, company policies and HR best practice
· Promoting employee wellbeing, engagement and occupational health initiatives
Qualifications
Essential: CIPD Level 5 qualified.
Knowledge \& Experience
· Experience operating in a standalone HR role.
· Experience within a manufacturing or operational environment
· Proven experience in a generalist HR role with responsibility across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, and employee exit processes.
· Strong employee relations experience, with the ability to manage disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance cases confidently and independently.
· Sound knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice, with the ability to provide pragmatic and commercially focused advice.
· Experience developing, implementing and reviewing HR policies, procedures and people initiatives.
· Experience partnering with managers at all levels to support effective people management and business objectives.
· Experience using HR systems and producing meaningful people data, reports and management information to support decision\-making.
· Experience supporting organisational change, workforce planning and continuous improvement initiatives
