Senior Healthcare Assistant
Location: Glasgow and surrounding areas
Job Type: Full\-time, Part\-time, Zero Hours Contract
Pay Rate: £14\.50 \- £15\.50 per hour (depending on assignment and location)
Hours: 12–48 hours per week

We work with a wide range of clients, including care homes, nursing homes, supported living services, and individuals requiring one\-to\-one care.
The Role
As a Senior Carer, you will play a key role in delivering high\-quality person\-centred care while supporting care teams to ensure service users receive the highest standards of support.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing personal care and emotional support.
- Administering medication in line with policies and procedures.
- Supporting and supervising care staff when required.
- Maintaining accurate care records and documentation.
- Assisting with care planning and risk assessments.
- Promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
- Reporting concerns and safeguarding issues appropriately.
Requirements
Applicants must have
- A minimum of 6 months' care experience within the UK.
- SVQ Level 3 in Health \& Social Care (SCQF Level 7\) or equivalent.
- SSSC registration or willingness to register.
- Knowledge of medication administration, safeguarding, and care planning.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A reliable and professional approach to work.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Previous experience in a senior care role.
- Driving licence and access to transport.
- Experience working within care homes or nursing homes.
