About the Role
You will step into a broad and business-critical role where tax, technology and global operations meet. In this position, you will help shape how a large financial services organization manages tax compliance, reporting and risk across multiple markets. The work spans both strategic and hands-on areas, from international tax matters and transfer pricing to automation, analytics and digital tax controls.
You will work close to senior stakeholders in finance, regional teams and a central group tax function, with real opportunity to influence processes, tools and ways of working. This is an exciting role for you if you want to combine deep tax expertise with digital development in a global environment.
Job DescriptionYou will support and drive tax matters linked to global operations, working closely with regional and market teams.
You will lead initiatives to improve tax reporting and risk monitoring through stronger analytics, automation and better use of data.
You will act as a key partner between tax, business and digital stakeholders in major tax-related initiatives, including Pillar 2 work.
You will help optimize compliance processes by using central tax data and supporting the rollout of digital tax controls and tax solutions.
You will take a leading role in implementing a transfer pricing documentation platform across the organization.
You will support local markets during tax audits and inquiries, contributing both tax expertise and tax technology knowledge.
You will provide training and guidance to teams in different markets and stay on top of new tax developments and business trends that affect operations.
RequirementsBachelor or Master's degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance or Law.
+7 years of experience in global taxation, including progressively responsible roles in a multinational corporation or tax consulting firm.
Hands-on experience in implementing tax related technology solutions.
Experience delivering tax technology implementation projects, such as digital VAT reporting, e-invoicing, tax automation solutions or integration of tax decision engines into compliance processes.
Knowledge of international tax laws, regulations and treaties.
Ability to identify tax issues, opportunities and upcoming tax legislation to support business strategy.
Ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly to leadership across different functional areas.
Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, sound business judgment and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to complete standard background checks.
Nice to haveExperience from the financial services industry.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with reporting software packages such as SAP or Hyperion.
