As our Senior Global Customs \& Compliance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening Kamstrup’s global customs framework. You will help ensure that we navigate an increasingly complex regulatory landscape with confidence while supporting our continued international growth.
More specifically, you will be:
- Driving global customs governance and strategy by developing and improving policies, procedures, and a scalable operating model
- Acting as the organization’s go\-to expert on customs and trade compliance, with a strong focus on US regulations
- Strengthening global compliance and risk management by monitoring regulations and handling audits, disputes, and classification matters
- Optimizing customs processes and trade flows through efficiencies, duty reduction, and improved transparency and control
- Ensuring strong data and collaboration via internal controls, KPIs, and stakeholder engagement

You will report directly to our Head of Planning and Logistics and will become part of a globally oriented organization. You will work closely with colleagues across Supply Chain, Finance, and other business areas, acting as the central expert within customs and trade compliance. You will be supported by dedicated colleagues and external partners, all working together to ensure efficient and compliant global operations. We are looking for an experienced customs and trade compliance professional who thrives in a role with both strategic impact and operational depth. You have a structured and analytical mindset and are motivated by creating efficient and compliant solutions in a global environment. You take ownership as a trusted specialist while collaborating across functions and cultures. With attention to detail and a pragmatic approach, you balance regulatory requirements with business needs and turn complexity into clear, actionable solutions.
In order to succeed, we imagine that you:
- Have 5\+ years of experience within customs and trade compliance, preferably from a global organization
- Hold a relevant degree within trade, business, economics, law, or similar
- Possess strong knowledge of global customs regulations, including tariff classification, Incoterms, and compliance frameworks
- Have experience with US customs processes (preferred) and are confident working across different regulatory environments
- Work in data\-driven way, with experience in ERP systems (IFS/SAP) and strong Excel skills
