Accountabilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using modern engineering practices, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability.

  • Build and enhance user-facing web experiences with a strong focus on usability, accessibility, responsiveness, and SEO best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and engineering to deliver end-to-end features that support business objectives and customer needs.

  • Drive technical design discussions, contribute to architectural decisions, and help establish engineering standards through code reviews and technical documentation.

  • Improve system performance, observability, monitoring capabilities, and overall developer experience across the technology stack.

  • Implement experimentation frameworks, A/B testing strategies, and controlled feature rollouts to support data-driven product improvements.

  • Ensure security, data integrity, compliance, and reliability across all applications, services, and user-facing systems.

  • Mentor fellow engineers, contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives, and participate in technical hiring and interview processes.

Requirements
  • Significant professional experience developing and delivering full-stack applications in production environments.

  • Strong backend development expertise, preferably with Go, combined with solid frontend development experience using JavaScript, modern HTML, CSS, and utility-first frameworks such as Tailwind CSS.

  • Deep understanding of API design principles, distributed systems architecture, and data modeling concepts.

  • Experience working with PostgreSQL, Redis, event-driven systems, and service communication technologies such as gRPC.

  • Proven ability to write clean, modular, maintainable, and high-quality code with a focus on performance and scalability.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to balance technical excellence with business priorities in fast-moving environments.

  • Experience participating in architectural discussions, technical reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across distributed and cross-functional teams.

  • Self-driven, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of projects from concept to delivery.

  • Formal education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • Professional fluency in English.

  • Must be based in Europe and possess valid working rights.
