<p>We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our <strong>Offers and Checkout</strong> team. Our mission is to empower loan customers through effortless and transparent digital services that are trustworthy and self-serve. We strive to provide a seamless experience from deciding for a loan to formalizing the checkout process, ensuring our customers feel confident and in control every step of the way. We are organized in a cross-functional team with FE, FS, BE, QA and Design roles working closely with our Product Owner and stakeholders.</p>
<h4 style="text-align: left;">WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING</h4>
<ul>
<li><strong>Own and deliver complex end-to-end features</strong> for our Offers, Checkout, and Customer Area domains, using <strong>React</strong> and <strong>TypeScript</strong> in the frontend and <strong>Node.js (TypeScript)</strong> in the backend.</li>
<li><strong>Act as a driving force for Automation and AI-driven UX development</strong>, using your expertise to identify, test, and implement AI to improve our development velocity and testing quality.</li>
<li><strong>Build and maintain stable, scalable services</strong> in a data-intensive, distributed AWS environment utilizing <strong>Kubernetes</strong>, <strong>AWS Lambda</strong>, and event-driven architectures.</li>
<li><strong>Collaborate closely with Product Owners and UX Designers</strong> to build high-conversion customer journeys, prioritizing a seamless, trustworthy self-serve experience.</li>
<li><strong>Drive high engineering standards</strong> for code quality, performance, and security while taking an active role in technical decision-making (stack, tools, architecture) within the team.</li>
<li><strong>Embody the "you build it, you run it, you own it" philosophy</strong>, including managing DevOps tasks and ensuring full observability of your services via the <strong>"LGTM" Grafana stack</strong>.</li>
<li><strong>Mentor and grow your peers</strong> through proactive knowledge sharing, high-quality design reviews, and pair programming.</li>
</ul>
<h4>YOUR PROFILE</h4>
<ul>
<li><strong>Extensive experience as a Fullstack Engineer</strong> with an <strong>emphasis on Frontend</strong> and a mastery of <strong>TypeScript</strong> across the entire stack.</li>
<li><strong>Expert-level proficiency in React and Node.js</strong>, with a solid understanding of how to build and optimize frontends for discerning customer bases.</li>
<li><strong>Deep interest and practical experience in AI tooling and automation</strong>, particularly in their application to frontend testing and modern UX development workflows.</li>
<li><strong>Strong background in conversion-focused business contexts</strong>, with experience in <strong>A/B-testing</strong> infrastructure and data-driven optimization.</li>
<li><strong>Proven experience in structured technical collaboration</strong>, specifically in writing and reviewing <strong>RFCs</strong> and working with <strong>PRDs</strong> to review product requirements.</li>
<li><strong>Senior-level maturity</strong>, demonstrating the ability to own the entire feature lifecycle—from design and implementation to maintenance—in a self-organized manner.</li>
<li><strong>Familiarity with modern infrastructure and CI/CD</strong>, including <strong>AWS</strong>, <strong>Kubernetes</strong>, and workflows like <strong>GitHub Actions</strong> or <strong>ArgoCD</strong>.</li>
<li><strong>Strong communication skills</strong> and a passion for working in a cross-functional, agile and supportive environment.</li>
