You'll be joining a highly technical engineering environment where firmware, electronics and mechanical systems come together to create innovative products Developing new technology right here in the UK, from engineering through to build.
What you'll be doing:
You'll play a key role in developing and improving embedded firmware for BLDC motor control systems, working closely with the wider engineering team.
- Developing robust bare-metal C/C++ firmware
- Designing and developing firmware for BLDC motor controllers
- Working with motor-control algorithms, feedback systems and control strategies
- Debugging firmware
- Testing, validating and optimising firmware and embedded systems
- Proven experience as an Embedded Firmware Engineer
- Strong C or C++ programming skills
- Solid experience with bare-metal embedded development
- Commercial experience developing firmware for BLDC motor controllers
- Experience developing motor-control algorithms
- Experience with real-time embedded systems
- Exposure to power electronics or motor-control hardware
- Full-time onsite in Reading, UK
