An innovative company is excited to announce a new opportunity to join their growing R\&D team. Chroma are searching for a Senior Firmware Engineer to support the continued development of their CAN\-based power management and vehicle control platforms.

The ideal candidate will be a hands\-on firmware engineer with strong CAN expertise. Candidates with strong hardware and firmware experience can be considered if no CAN experience.

Senior Firmware Engineer Requirements:

  • 8\+ years’ commercial embedded firmware development

  • Strong C/C\+\+ experience on 32\-bit microcontrollers

  • RTOS, interrupts, low\-level drivers and communications protocols

  • SPI, I2C, UART and LIN

  • Ability to read schematics and work closely with hardware engineers

  • Experience mentoring or technically guiding other engineers

As a Senior Firmware Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the architecture, design and delivery of embedded firmware for CAN\-based power distribution and control units. You’ll also help define coding standards, review processes and test strategies, whilst mentoring other members of the firmware team.
