Senior Financial Planning Manager

We are looking for a Senior Financial Planning Manager who can lead financial forecasting, budgeting strategy, and operational performance analysis across multiple business units. This is not a traditional back\-office accounting role. You will work closely with senior leadership to influence major commercial decisions, improve financial efficiency, and help scale a high\-performing organization. You will transform complex financial data into clear business direction while mentoring a growing finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy Leadership:
Lead company\-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long\-term financial planning initiatives. Provide strategic recommendations based on market trends and operational performance.
Performance Analysis:
Develop financial models, KPI dashboards, and profitability analysis to support executive decision\-making and business expansion plans.
Operational Collaboration:
Partner with department leaders to improve cost management, resource allocation, and financial efficiency across multiple business functions.
Team Leadership:
Mentor and support Financial Analysts and Finance Coordinators. Conduct performance reviews and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Risk and Compliance Oversight:
Ensure financial processes align with internal policies, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements while identifying areas for operational improvement.
Stakeholder Communication:
Present financial reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
7\+ years of experience in financial planning, corporate finance, or strategic financial management, including at least 2 years in a senior leadership or managerial role.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of financial forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting systems. Experience with ERP and business intelligence platforms is highly preferred.
Analytical Thinking:
You can interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and provide practical recommendations that support business growth.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain financial insights to both finance and non\-finance stakeholders.
Leadership Mindset:
You are proactive, commercially aware, and capable of balancing long\-term strategic planning with day\-to\-day operational priorities.
Pay: £7,300\.00\-£7,500\.00 per month
