An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Financial Administrator to join a modern, growing and highly regarded independent financial planning firm based in the heart of St Albans.

They are now seeking an ambitious and technically minded Financial Planning Administrator who is looking to take the next step in their career and progress into a Junior Paraplanner position.

The Opportunity
Working closely with Financial Advisers and Paraplanners, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality financial planning services while developing your technical knowledge and paraplanning capabilities.
You will gain exposure to all aspects of the advice process and gradually take on increased technical responsibilities as part of a structured development plan.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-level administrative support to Financial Advisers and Paraplanners
- Processing new business across pensions, investments and protection products
- Preparing client review packs and meeting documentation
- Liaising with clients, providers and third parties on a daily basis
- Maintaining accurate client records and CRM systems
- Processing policy servicing tasks, withdrawals, fund switches and provider requests
- Assisting with technical research and suitability report preparation
- Supporting compliance and regulatory processes
- Delivering exceptional client service throughout the financial planning journey
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning completed or close to completion
- Previous experience within a Financial Planning Administrator or Wealth Management Administration role
- Strong understanding of pensions, investments and financial planning processes
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong administrative and client servicing abilities
- Ambition to progress into a Paraplanning role
- Positive, proactive and professional approach
- Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience
