Senior Finance Business Partner - Group Functions


Initial 6-Month Contract | Potential to Convert to Permanent


Hybrid Working - 3 days in London

We are partnering with a dynamic, consumer-focused organisation undergoing significant transformation to appoint a commercially focused Senior Finance Business Partner to support Group Functions.

This is a highly visible role working closely with senior leadership across central functions including Technology, HR, Legal and Finance, with a particular emphasis on supporting the Data & Technology organisation.

The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing best-in-class overhead management, improving forecasting accuracy and embedding stronger commercial decision support across Group Functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the lead finance partner to Group functional leaders

  • Own overhead budgeting, forecasting and planning processes

  • Deliver clear insight on cost trends, risks and opportunities

  • Support business cases for investment, transformation and headcount initiatives

  • Drive improved forecasting accuracy and financial visibility

  • Embed stronger cost governance and accountability across functions

  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies and value optimisation

  • Develop concise reporting and management information for senior stakeholders

  • Support process improvement, automation and finance transformation initiatives

  • Partner with Group and Divisional Finance teams to improve operating models and ways of working

Candidate Profile:
  • Proven finance business partnering experience within a complex organisation

  • Strong FP&A, budgeting and forecasting capability

  • Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders constructively

  • Commercially minded with strong analytical skills

  • Comfortable operating within fast-paced and evolving environments

  • Exposure to technology, transformation or central functions is highly advantageous

  • Qualified accountant preferred (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
