Job Purpose

Manage and further develop the overall Pricing BI roadmap and activities in DHL eCommerce by turning data into valuable assets.

Implement a state\-of\-the\-art pricing reporting from price setting to price management throughout the organization and across channels and products as well as supporting countries in establishing Pricing Excellence or turnaround projects.

Setting common standards, supporting the countries with necessary training, analysis and advice form core activities of this role

Your Tasks

Job related tasks include but are not limited to

• Fostering commercial and pricing related data gathering and process automation within the Pricing function


• Update, enhance and improve efficiency of regular standard dashboards and validate/challenge data quality towards submitting parties if needed


• Analyze and provide guidance to key stakeholders on relevant trends, opportunities and threats following individual country price performance


• Collect, align and implement new requirements from top management or country leaders


• Leverage internal and external data in collaboration with system suppliers


• Train country peers in correct data provision and support in ad\-hoc or project related analysis


• Fostering automation of our PowerBI reporting dashboards on Price setting and Price Management


• Support in preparing annual country pricing alignment meetings with countries


• Mentor country pricing projects by providing country benchmarking, guidance and analysis including onsite assistance as and when needed


• Enrich Global Pricing System by complementing system capabilities with correlating reporting insights

• Core stakeholders within Global Headoffice form all commercial functions, respective board members plus IT and Finance


• Engage with IT to ensure data governance and smooth exchange of relevant data across systems


• Engage with Finance to help and ensure implementation of Pricing requirements or needed data provision from the central billing solution that is being deployed


• Engage within Pricing function to support global Pricing system rollout and governance of underlying pricing processes.


• Communicate and align within Pricing community on further tools and pricing strategy to continuously drive pricing excellence from within the organization

• Management of all Pricing BI related tasks and requirements in collaboration with country peers across the division


• Support broader Pricing system landscape development

• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills, paired with an eye for details


• Excellent commercial understanding paired with a profound IT\-data\-driven skillset


• Being a self\-starter with a positive convincing personality who knows how to get the buy\-in from pioneer thinkers as well as hesitant late adapters


• Pragmatic thinker with can\-do spirit, holistic view, and multi\-tasking skills


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• International working experience in a matrix organization


• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional language skills are a plus


• University degree in Business Informatics, IT or business administration


• Professional experience in a Pricing\-related function, ideally with a logistics background
