About the role
------------------

As a Senior Enterprise Risk Manager, you’ll sit at the heart of the Risk Division, translating the Risk Management Framework into practical, business\-relevant insight and ensuring it is effectively embedded, applied and continuously evolving across the organisation.

You’ll play a key role in bridging strategy and delivery, enabling the business to make informed, risk\-based decisions while maintaining strong oversight and constructive challenge. You’ll deliver clear, decision\-focused risk insight for senior stakeholders and governance forums, using analysis of risk, control and event data to identify trends and emerging risks.

You’ll support the consistent and effective application of the Risk Management Framework, while strengthening risk governance and committee effectiveness to ensure robust oversight and assurance. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you’ll influence and challenge decision\-making, ensuring risks are clearly understood, owned and managed.

You’ll drive continuous improvement across risk processes, controls and the use of risk tools, building strong relationships and promoting a positive and proactive risk culture across the organisation.

This role plays a key part in supporting business performance and strategic change, providing risk input into transformation initiatives, business decisions and long\-term planning.

This role is based in our Tiddington Head Office, just outside Stratford\-Upon\-Avon. However, we understand how important a positive work life balance is, so to help you give your best, we offer great facilities when you want to be in an office environment and support to work up to 80% of your hours from home.

About you
-------------

You’re an experienced Enterprise Risk professional with a strong track record of developing, embedding and improving enterprise and operational risk management frameworks within insurance, financial services or banking environments.

You bring deep knowledge of enterprise risk, including risk governance, regulatory requirements and frameworks, and understand how these translate into practical application across a business.

You build credible, trusted relationships and demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and constructively challenging decisions at senior levels. You communicate complex risk information clearly, using data and insight to support effective decision\-making.

You’re a proactive, results\-driven individual who takes ownership, delivers outcomes and drives continuous improvement across risk processes, frameworks and reporting. You demonstrate sound judgement, resilience and adaptability in a fast\-paced environment.

You also bring:

  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise risk frameworks

  • Strong regulatory awareness and understanding of the wider risk environment

  • Experience producing high\-quality, insight\-led reporting for senior stakeholders

  • The ability to analyse complex data and translate it into clear, actionable insight
