<div class="mb-4 break-words font-normal leading-7 text-inherit last:mb-0 [li_&]:mb-0">As Senior Engineering Manager, you'll lead two interconnected engineering functions from a single management seat, overseeing both <strong class="font-semibold">Design Engineering</strong> (partnering with commercial teams to translate customer requirements into fabrication-ready specs for custom extrusion orders) and <strong class="font-semibold">Production Engineering</strong> (receiving signed contracts and designing all windows to customer specification through delivery). This is a leader-of-leaders role with broad influence over how our engineering group operates, performs, and grows.</div>

<li class="py-0.5">Lead, mentor, & develop engineering staff through hands-on coaching, structured performance management, & career development</li>
<li class="py-0.5">Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, & trust that strengthens team cohesion & retention</li>
<li class="py-0.5">Manage the preparation of detailed product layout drawings, bills of material, & related fabrication & component drawings for specific projects</li>
<li class="py-0.5">Manage the Production Engineering process to maintain budgeted volumes & on-time delivery</li>
<li class="py-0.5">Own the overall coordination of translating customer order information into manufacturing-ready formats bills of materials, cutting information, & drawings used by purchasing & production</li>
<li class="py-0.5">Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new & revised products including establishing goals, training team members, & evaluating results</li>
<li class="py-0.5">Serve as a technical resource for sales & project management teams</li>
<li class="py-0.5">Confer with architects, sales, & dealers on product & installation methods to help define & process project information</li>
<li class="py-0.5">Work closely with manufacturing on a daily basis to resolve project-related issues & maintain clear communication</li>
<li class="py-0.5">Apply product & process analysis methods to drive cost reduction, quality improvement, & operational efficiency</li>
<li class="py-0.5">Design, develop, test, & cost-justify tools, machinery, & equipment to support recommended manufacturing methods</li>
<li class="py-0.5">Confer with management, design engineering, & other staff on manufacturing capabilities & new product launch considerations</li>
<li class="py-0.5">Continually identify opportunities to reduce engineering revisions & value-engineer projects to improve overall margins</li>
<li class="py-0.5">Represent manufacturing & engineering on cross-functional teams</li>

<h2 class="mb-2 mt-4 break-words text-xl font-semibold">What We Are Looking For</h2>
<p></p>

<li class="py-0.5">B.S. in Mechanical, Civil, or Architectural Engineering required</li>
<li class="py-0.5">5+ years of engineering management experience in a manufacturing environment</li>
<li class="py-0.5">5+ years of experience in engineer-to-order manufacturing</li>
<li class="py-0.5">3+ years in fabrication, submission applications, or design engineering</li>
<li class="py-0.5">Intermediate-to-advanced AutoCAD proficiency, Softec V6 software experience a plus</li>
<li class="py-0.5">Strong organizational & project planning skills, including scheduling & performance metric ownership</li>
<li class="py-0.5">Background in building, construction, remodel, or retrofit industries</li>
<li class="py-0.5">Exposure to architectural metals, sheet metal, or structural glazing adjacent fabrication</li>
<li class="py-0.5">Familiarity with CNC or production software inputs</li>
<li class="py-0.5">Kaizen & Lean Manufacturing experience a plus</li>
