Senior Engineer

This role will require the candidate to have a strong foundation in key Microsoft technologies. A subject Matter Expert if you will. In a customer facing environment, the candidate will require to be outgoing, polite and confident in their approach to project working's within the role. Key Responsibilities • Design, deploy, and optimise Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft 365 Groups.

• Lead tenant reviews, remediation projects, migrations, and platform standardisation.


• Design and manage secure identity solutions using Microsoft Entra ID.


• Implement and maintain security technologies including Conditional Access, MFA, Passwordless Authentication, PIM, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Purview.


• Manage and secure endpoints using Intune and Windows Autopilot across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.


• Apply Zero Trust and Microsoft security best practices to customer environments.


• Support compliance and governance requirements including GDPR and ISO-aligned controls.


• Use PowerShell and automation to improve efficiency, consistency, and service quality.


• Produce and maintain technical documentation, standards, and runbooks.


• Act as a senior escalation point for complex incidents and projects.


• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards across the business.


• Build strong customer relationships and translate business requirements into secure technical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and architecture.

• Intune & Windows Autopilot


• Microsoft Defender & security tooling


• SharePoint Online & Teams


• Exchange Online


• Experience working within MSP or multi-tenant environments.


• Strong understanding of identity, endpoint security, and compliance best practices.


• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.


• Ability to lead technical decisions and work independently.
