<div class="paragraph-in-scc-markdown-text ___1ngh792 ftgm304 f1iaxwol">BakerHicks is looking for an experienced Senior C&I Engineer to support a growing workload across a range of technically complex projects.</div>

<div class="paragraph-in-scc-markdown-text ___1ngh792 ftgm304 f1iaxwol">The successful candidate will join a small team of engineers and designers, while also working as part of a wider multidisciplinary team.</div>
<div class="paragraph-in-scc-markdown-text ___1ngh792 ftgm304 f1iaxwol">The role will involve the delivery of Control and Instrumentation activities across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility studies through to commissioning. This includes C&I design, data sheets, schedules, and associated technical documentation.</div>
<div class="paragraph-in-scc-markdown-text ___1ngh792 ftgm304 f1iaxwol"><br>Project work may include clean rooms, hazardous areas and process plants.</div>
<div class="paragraph-in-scc-markdown-text ___1ngh792 ftgm304 f1iaxwol">The initial assignment is expected to be within Life Sciences, supporting a chemical plant project, with further opportunities to work across Nuclear and Defence projects. </div>
<div class="paragraph-in-scc-markdown-text ___1ngh792 ftgm304 f1iaxwol">This role will be based in our Manchester office, alongside regular client site visits in the NE.</div>
<h3><br>What You’ll Be Doing</h3>
<ul>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Delivering C&I activities from feasibility through to commissioning.</li>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Producing C&I design, data sheets, schedules and associated documentation.</li>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Taking ownership of packages of work and delivering them independently.</li>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Deputising for the Lead Engineer when required.</li>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Working closely with a small engineering and design team, as well as a wider multidisciplinary team.</li>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Engaging with clients where required.</li>
</ul>
<h3><br>What We’re Looking For</h3>
<div class="paragraph-in-scc-markdown-text ___1ngh792 ftgm304 f1iaxwol">We are looking for someone who can work independently, take ownership of a package of work and deliver it confidently, with proven experience delivering independently.</div>
<ul>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Experience delivering a full C&I package on projects within highly regulated sectors.</li>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Experience with hazardous area equipment selection and installation design requirements.</li>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance at SC level or above.</li>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Willingness and ability to attend regular site visits.</li>
</ul>
