Senior Embedded Software Architect

Our client, a company operating in the defense sector, is looking for a Senior Embedded Software Architect to support the review and modernization of a complex software architecture.
The objective is to improve the modularity, maintainability and scalability of embedded software products operating in a demanding technical environment.
Your responsibilities
Review the existing embedded software architecture.
Identify structural weaknesses, technical risks and improvement opportunities.
Define a clear and sustainable target architecture.
Support technical leads and developers in applying architectural principles.
Promote software design standards and best practices.
Participate in architecture and design reviews.
Contribute to the modernization of large and complex legacy systems.
Profile / Requirements
--------------------------
Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
At least 10 years of experience in embedded software development and architecture.
Strong expertise in C\+\+.
Solid knowledge of Real\-Time Linux environments.
Good understanding of software design patterns and modular architecture.
Experience with UML and/or SysML.
Proven experience working with large\-scale legacy software systems.
Strong coaching, mentoring and technical leadership skills.
Able to communicate complex architectural decisions clearly to both technical and non\-technical stakeholders.
Mandatory requirements
Fluent French.
On\-site presence at least four days per week.
