The venue is the fourth opening within the South West Bar Group since 2021! SWBG is curating a growing portfolio of unique businesses in thriving areas to develop into truly unique venues.

We aren’t looking for a box ticker, weighed down by emails, traffic light reports and endless meetings. So what about the venue?

The venue is a 350 capacity pub with a large mezzanine area. Our drinks offering includes a popular cocktail menu, a rotation of draught, boozy slushies as well as the usual pub offerings. We have a fully functional kitchen serving up fresh, quality food at student prices! With beer hall style seating, a unique rustic meets modern aesthetic and ever evolving weekly entertainment, there is always a buzz in the venue!

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for an Senior Duty Manager who is passionate about coaching and developing teams, keeping them motivated and driven at all times. You will need to be able to think on your feet and adapt to situations as they unfold, spotting and resolving problems quickly and efficiently. You will be proficient with standard back of house systems; stock taking, payroll and health and safety procedures and be conscientious in your approach to licensing and maintaining a safe working environment. We want someone who is passionate about driving sales and is always on the lookout for the next revenue driving opportunity!

Shifts will be predominantly late night shifts over the key trading days, however, there are as expected day shifts to keep up to date with all the admin that keeps the business running.
