To strengthen our team in Aachen, we are looking for an experienced Senior Director R\&D (m/f/d) who will play a key role in advancing our development portfolio and driving medical innovation.
Your Responsibilities:
As a senior leader within our R\&D organization, you will
- Design and manage development programs for medicinal products in anaesthesia and intensive care
- Act as an internal and external expert in these therapeutic areas
- Engage with scientific experts and key opinion leaders to discuss strategies and innovative concepts
- Evaluate, prioritize, and strategically develop new R\&D projects
Your profile
- University degree in Medicine or Life Sciences; MD or PhD preferred
- Proven experience in anaesthesia, intensive care, or related medical specialties
- Approx. 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Scientific expertise with leadership and strategic thinking
- In\-depth knowledge across all stages of drug development (non\-clinical, clinical, and CMC/formulation)
- Demonstrated leadership experience, both in project teams and line management
- Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate complex scientific information effectively
- Basic knowledge of Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance
- Self\-organized, reliable, and solution\-oriented working style
- Fluency in written and spoken English
