<p>Reporting to the SVP, Global Engineering and Infrastructure, the <strong>Senior Director of Health &amp; Safety Operations Europe</strong> serves as a strategic leader driving safety excellence across our European operations. You will champion the development and implementation of robust H&amp;S strategies, ensuring full regulatory compliance while fostering a world-class safety culture. This role demands a visionary leader capable of influencing cross-functional teams and implementing industry-best practices to minimize risk and achieve ambitious safety performance goals.</p>
<h3><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h3>

<li><strong>Define and execute</strong> the European H&amp;S strategy, aligning safety milestones with broader business objectives.</li>
<li><strong>Cultivate </strong>a "Zero Incident" organizational culture by architecting risk-reduction programs across all operations.</li>

<li><strong>Standardize</strong> safety processes across diverse sites using our newly developed, proprietary safety framework.</li>
<li><strong>Partner </strong>with Supply Chain and Site Operations leadership to integrate safety into the heart of production practices.</li>
<li><strong>Leverage </strong>data to track KPIs, providing senior leadership with actionable insights and performance reports.</li>
<li><strong>Lead </strong>high-stakes incident investigations, ensuring deep root-cause analysis and the execution of effective corrective actions.</li>
<li><strong>Act </strong>as the primary representative for safety matters with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders across Europe.</li>
<li><strong>Orchestrate</strong> internal and external safety audits to ensure consistent best-practice standards across all regions.</li>
<li><strong>Mentor </strong>and develop a high-performing team of safety experts, fostering professional growth and succession planning.</li>
<li><strong>Pioneer </strong>the use of AI and emerging technologies as accelerators for continuous improvement and safety innovation.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>What you’ll bring</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>15+ years of safety management experience, with at least 5 years in a high-impact leadership role.</li>
<li>Subject matter expertise in European safety regulations, multi-national frameworks, and compliance standards.</li>
<li>Industry background in FMCG, Logistics, Manufacturing, or Fulfillment preferred.</li>
<li>Proven track record of implementing scalable safety strategies across complex, international geographies.</li>
<li>Analytical mindset with the ability to translate safety data into strategic business decisions.</li>
<li>Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders at all levels.</li>
