TMC Luxembourg is looking for a Senior Database Administrator (MS SQL Server) (M/F) for one of its clients.

You will be responsible for assessing, supporting, optimizing, and securing the organization's database environments, with a primary focus on Microsoft SQL Server and optional exposure to PostgreSQL and Oracle RDBMS. As part of the Infrastructure \& Cloud Services team, you will work closely with internal DBA and IT teams to strengthen database operations, identify improvement opportunities, implement best practices, and ensure the performance, availability, and security of critical database services.

What we expect from you

• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server administration within production environments.


• Proven experience in database assessment, optimization, remediation, and continuous improvement initiatives.


• Solid knowledge of performance tuning, backup \& recovery, high availability, security, monitoring, and capacity planning.


• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and T\-SQL.


• Experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle RDBMS is considered a strong asset.


• Excellent communication in English or French, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.


• Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within multidisciplinary IT teams.
