<p>We are expanding our data science capability to develop a state-of-the-art system for estimating and understanding the size and characteristics of marketing and advertising audiences.</p>
<p>This role offers the opportunity to apply Bayesian statistics, advanced mathematical thinking and production-quality engineering to complex problems with meaningful industry impact.</p>
<p><strong><u>What You’ll Be Doing</u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and implement Bayesian statistical models and other advanced analytical methods to estimate audience sizes and characteristics.</li>
<li>Translate complex mathematical and statistical questions into robust, explainable data-driven solutions.</li>
<li>Build and maintain production-ready Python packages, including unit tests and clear technical documentation.</li>
<li>Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and other specialists to design, build and refine analytical solutions.</li>
<li>Work with diverse data formats and help maintain data quality and integrity throughout the analytics pipeline.</li>
<li>Use cloud computing resources to support scalable data processing and model deployment.</li>
<li>Contribute to Git repositories, code reviews and sound version-control practices while adapting to evolving priorities.</li>
</ul>

<p>You’ll join a multidisciplinary team working on challenging statistical, mathematical and conceptual problems. The team values rigorous thinking, open discussion, knowledge sharing and practical solutions.</p>
<p>You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues who bring different technical perspectives and areas of expertise, contributing to an environment where ideas are tested constructively and improved together.</p>
<p><strong><u>What You’ll Bring</u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Advanced knowledge of probability and statistics, including a strong foundation in Bayesian methods, gained through postgraduate study or equivalent professional experience.</li>
<li>Advanced Python programming skills, including package development, unit testing and working with multiple data formats.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to solve complex mathematical, statistical or conceptual problems.</li>
<li>Experience using Git, repositories and collaborative code-review practices.</li>
<li>Experience with a cloud computing platform such as AWS, GCP or Azure.</li>
<li>The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with colleagues from different disciplines.</li>
<li>A thoughtful, structured approach to exploring unfamiliar problems and evaluating potential solutions.</li>
