<h2 data-path-to-node="4">Main Responsibilities</h2>
<p data-path-to-node="5">As a <strong data-path-to-node="5" data-index-in-node="5">Data Engineer (GCP / dbt / Looker)</strong>, you will join our team as an external consultant to support a high-stakes project for a major global player. You will be a key driver in the <strong data-path-to-node="5" data-index-in-node="182">Business Insights & Analytics</strong> department, specifically supporting strategic network development initiatives.</p>
<p data-path-to-node="6">You will focus on integrating and transforming data from planning systems into a robust <strong data-path-to-node="6" data-index-in-node="88">GCP environment</strong>, enriching data visibility through <strong data-path-to-node="6" data-index-in-node="139">Looker</strong>, and ensuring the long-term scalability of the data infrastructure. You will:</p>

<p data-path-to-node="7,0,0"><strong data-path-to-node="7,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">Data Pipeline Development:</strong> Design and build scalable data pipelines using <strong data-path-to-node="7,0,0" data-index-in-node="74">dbt and SQL</strong> on <strong data-path-to-node="7,0,0" data-index-in-node="89">GCP (BigQuery)</strong>. You will maintain existing pipelines, optimize for performance, and implement rigorous data historization.</p>

You will participate in design workshops and advise on data structure and integration approaches.</p>

<p data-path-to-node="7,2,0"><strong data-path-to-node="7,2,0" data-index-in-node="0">Reporting & Visualization:</strong> Support the development and enhancement of reports in <strong data-path-to-node="7,2,0" data-index-in-node="81">Looker using LookML</strong>, ensuring that data is accessible and intuitive for end-users across global markets.</p>

<p data-path-to-node="10">We are looking for an engineer first, consultant second – someone with a builder’s mindset and the ability to bridge the gap between technical architecture and business value.</p>

<p data-path-to-node="11,0,0"><strong data-path-to-node="11,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">Education:</strong> Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.</p>
</li>

<p data-path-to-node="11,1,0"><strong data-path-to-node="11,1,0" data-index-in-node="0">Technical Skills:</strong> Proficiency in <strong data-path-to-node="11,1,0" data-index-in-node="33">SQL</strong> and <strong data-path-to-node="11,1,0" data-index-in-node="41">dbt</strong> is essential. You must have hands-on experience with <strong data-path-to-node="11,1,0" data-index-in-node="98">Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery)</strong>.</p>

<p data-path-to-node="11,2,0"><strong data-path-to-node="11,2,0" data-index-in-node="0">Data Modeling:</strong> Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes, pipeline architecture, and data modeling best practices.</p>

<p data-path-to-node="11,3,0"><strong data-path-to-node="11,3,0" data-index-in-node="0">Visualization:</strong> Working knowledge of <strong data-path-to-node="11,3,0" data-index-in-node="36">Looker and LookML</strong> for professional data visualization.</p>

<p data-path-to-node="11,4,0"><strong data-path-to-node="11,4,0" data-index-in-node="0">Soft Skills:</strong> Strong business acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to simplify complex data flows for commercial stakeholders.</p>

<p data-path-to-node="11,5,0"><strong data-path-to-node="11,5,0" data-index-in-node="0">Languages:</strong> Fluency in <strong data-path-to-node="11,5,0" data-index-in-node="22">English</strong> is mandatory; French or German is a strong plus.</p>

<p data-path-to-node="11,6,0"><strong data-path-to-node="11,6,0" data-index-in-node="0">Nice to Have:</strong> Familiarity with <strong data-path-to-node="11,6,0" data-index-in-node="31">Anaplan</strong> data logic or experience with commercial/distribution data domains.</p>
