Senior Data Engineer / BI Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the rollout and adoption of ThoughtSpot across business domains


• Gather and document business requirements for analytics and reporting use cases


• Translate business needs into curated datasets, semantic models and analytics solutions


• Map business requirements to available Data Lake / Lakehouse datasets


• Support ingestion and publication of Gold and Presentation Layer data into ThoughtSpot AI Catalog


• Design and maintain semantic models, reusable metrics and business definitions


• Build dashboards, Liveboards, charts and AI\-ready analytics experiences


• Drive business adoption through demos, enablement sessions and stakeholder engagement


• Collect user feedback and continuously improve dashboards and use cases


• Collaborate closely with data engineers, IT teams and business stakeholders


• Support AI initiatives involving Databricks, ThoughtSpot and advanced analytics

Skills

• \+5 years of experience in Data Engineering, BI or Analytics Engineering


• Strong SQL skills (mandatory)


• Experience with Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures (preferably Databricks)


• Strong data modeling and semantic layer design experience


• Hands\-on experience with BI tools and dashboard development (Power BI, Tableau or similar)


• Experience with Python and/or PySpark


• Experience with ThoughtSpot (preferred)


• Experience with Databricks (preferred)


• Understanding of GenBI and natural\-language analytics concepts (preferred)


• Experience with energy, utilities, solar, finance or asset management data (preferred)


• Ability to translate business requirements into impactful analytics solutions


• Strong communication skills with business and non\-technical stakeholders


• Experience preparing demos, documentation and enablement materials


• Fluent in English \- written and spoken (mandatory)
