Senior Data Analyst - Treasury
Location: Málaga or Madrid (Spain) - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week
Ebury’s strategic growth plan would not be possible without our Data Analytics & Reporting team and we are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Treasury domain! 
Our data mission is to develop and maintain Ebury’s Data Platform and serve it to the whole company. This platform is the backbone of Ebury: it supports internal decision making, allows us to monitor our Treasury positions and risks, comply with regulatory reporting obligations and enables commercial opportunities globally.
The Data team works closely with Treasury, Product and Tech teams to coordinate and implement data analysis initiatives helping the Cash management, ALM and Treasury Reporting teams. Some of the projects we are currently working on include: MtM valuations reconciliation with our Treasury reporting system to ensure completeness and accuracy in our Financial statements, cash operational charges data analysis to reduce Treasury costs, liquidity data analysis to help ALM team manage daily liquidity obligations, and building AI agentic workflows to automate routine data operations and decision support, and many many more!
<h3 id="E250" class="x-scope qowt-word-para-5">As part of the team you will </h3>
<ul>
<li id="E268" class="qowt-li-2_0 qowt-list x-scope qowt-word-para-6">Work closely with the rest of the Data Analysts, Analytics Engineers, Data Engineering, Treasury and Product teams</li>
<li id="E270" class="qowt-li-2_0 qowt-list x-scope qowt-word-para-6">Be responsible for modelling data in our collaborative data platform to perform critical Treasury data analysis and build reports and reconciliations for the Treasury domain</li>
<li id="E272" class="qowt-li-2_0 qowt-list x-scope qowt-word-para-6">Design, build, and maintain robust AI agentic workflows and analytical tools to automate and enhance Treasury data processes and decision-making</li>
<li id="E275" class="qowt-li-2_0 qowt-list x-scope qowt-word-para-6">Manage end-to-end treasury solutions across all jurisdictions of the company from requirements gathering, building optimised data models and delivering the reports to our treasury stakeholders and auditors</li>
<li id="E277" class="qowt-li-2_0 qowt-list x-scope qowt-word-para-6">Maintain and build dashboards and visualisations on the data platform using our BI tools for Treasury teams to monitor reporting and controls</li>

<h3 id="E293" class="x-scope qowt-word-para-7">What we’re looking for </h3>
<ul>
<li id="E311" class="qowt-li-1_0 qowt-list x-scope qowt-word-para-6">6+ years of experience in Data/Business Analytics - applied to Treasury or Finance is a plus!</li>
<li id="E313" class="qowt-li-1_0 qowt-list x-scope qowt-word-para-6">Advanced SQL skills - must be able to read and write complex SQL queries</li>
<li id="E315" class="qowt-li-1_0 qowt-list x-scope qowt-word-para-6">Experience working with AI and building agentic workflows</li>
<li id="E317" class="qowt-li-1_0 qowt-list x-scope qowt-word-para-6">Experience with our<a id="E319" href="https://www.moderndatastack.xyz/stacks/Ebury" target="_blank"> modern data stack tools</a> (a plus!) We use dbt, Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, DataStudio), Sigma</li>
<li id="E323" class="qowt-li-1_0 qowt-list x-scope qowt-word-para-6">Strong problem solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail</li>
<li id="E325" class="qowt-li-1_0 qowt-list x-scope qowt-word-para-6">The ability to manage, organise and present data in a clear, concise and actionable format</li>
<li id="E327" class="qowt-li-1_0 qowt-list x-scope qowt-word-para-6">Comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding work environment</li>
<li id="E329" class="qowt-li-1_0 qowt-list x-scope qowt-word-para-6">Track record of working autonomously with time management skills</li>
<li id="E331" class="qowt-li-1_0 qowt-list x-scope qowt-word-para-6">Fluency in English</li>
<li id="E333" class="qowt-li-1_0 qowt-list x-scope qowt-word-para-6">Financial Services and Capital Markets Experience (FX, Payments, Money Markets, Treasury Management, etc) is a good plus!</li>
