As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business and technology, leading data\-driven initiatives, and implementing strategic changes that optimise our processes, products, and services. You will be a thought leader, mentoring junior analysts and working with cross\-functional teams to drive business improvements across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Data Leadership: Lead initiatives to assess business performance, develop data\-driven solutions, and provide actionable recommendations that align with GiG’s broader strategic goals.
- Advanced Business Process Optimization: Collaborate with executive leadership, finance, IT, and other departments to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable, data\-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency, increase revenue, and reduce costs.
- Enterprise\-Wide Reporting and Automation: Oversee the creation of automated reports and dashboards for key business metrics using advanced tools like Google Workspace, Power BI, Tableau, Python, and SQL. Ensure effective integration of data from cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) into decision\-making processes.
- Ownership of Financial Analysis: Take ownership of forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and KPI reporting. Provide financial insights and predictive models that support GiG’s business decisions and long\-term growth strategies.
- Campaign Optimization and A/B Testing: Lead complex analyses on marketing campaigns, using advanced statistical techniques to provide insights on effectiveness. Recommend optimisations based on data\-driven insights, working closely with CRM, Casino, and Sportsbook teams.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Act as a mentor for junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Lead cross\-functional teams on key projects and guide them through best practices in business analysis, data visualisation, and reporting.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with C\-level executives and department heads, presenting detailed analyses and actionable insights. Translate complex data into clear, concise reports that drive strategic decisions.
- Change Management: Lead process improvement and business transformation initiatives across multiple departments. Manage stakeholder expectations and drive seamless adoption of new tools, processes, and systems.
- Project Leadership: Oversee large\-scale projects, from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timely delivery, and measurable outcomes.
Requirements
- Extensive Analytical Expertise: Proven ability to work with large datasets, analyse complex data, and provide detailed insights that drive business decisions. Proficiency in Google Workspace, Python, SQL, QlikSense, and cloud platforms like GCP is essential.
- Leadership and Mentorship Skills: Experience leading cross\-functional teams and mentoring junior analysts. Strong ability to foster collaboration and drive results.
- Problem\-Solving and Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to identify business challenges, propose solutions, and execute strategies that deliver measurable business impact.
- Advanced Communication Skills: Capable of presenting data\-driven insights and strategies to executives and stakeholders in a clear, persuasive manner. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Business and Financial Analysis: Experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI management. Ability to link financial insights to operational and strategic goals.
- Change Management and Process Improvement: Proven track record of leading business transformation initiatives, implementing new technologies, and improving processes.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with iGaming, online gaming, or other tech\-driven industries is preferred. Deep understanding of industry\-specific KPIs and best practices.
- Educational Background: 5\+ years of experience as a business analyst or senior analyst, with a degree in business, economics, data science, or a related quantitative field. Advanced degrees (MSc, MBA) are a plus.
