Your Challenge

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Credit Analyst specializing in Bank Guarantees, based in Hamburg or Poznan. This role will directly report to the Director Credit EMEA.
Your Responsibilities

• Handling of documentary business of bank guarantees


• Supporting internal stakeholders in processing bank guarantees


• Acting as point of contact for banks on questions around ADM’s documentary business in EMEA


• Monitoring counterparty and country risk


• Performing credit assessments of new customers, reviewing and updating existing credit limits


• Close cooperation with commercial teams about credit limit assessment and payment behavior of customers


• Obtaining and evaluating/analyzing customer information, balance sheets, and securities


• Documenting/Maintaining records of the steps taken in the GetPaid credit system


• Follow\-up on payment plans and bad debts


• Covering of reporting obligations


• Acting as point of contact for internal and external partners on credit related questions

Your Profile

• Banking, commercial or administrative apprenticeship; Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Controlling, Finance or another relevant field


• Several years work experience preferable in international trade, the food producing industry or a bank


• Knowledge of processing and handling bank guarantees and Swift


• A degree as Certified Demand Guarantee Specialist, Certified Credit Manager or Certified Credit Controller, is an advantage


• A very precise, well\-structured, responsible working attitude paired with an analytic mindset


• Assertive, target\-driven and autonomous work approach


• Good problem solving and decision making skills


• Ability to deal with stressful situations


• Good communication and team working skills


• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks


• Fluent command of written and spoken English; good German or further language skills would be a plus
