Senior Cloud Architect, Field Engineering (GenAI Focus)

Accountabilities:

• Lead customer-facing GenAI and cloud implementation engagements from discovery through production delivery.


• Design and deploy AWS-native AI architectures, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector database integrations, and agentic AI workflows.


• Translate customer business goals into scalable technical solutions with measurable outcomes and implementation roadmaps.


• Conduct workshops, technical discovery sessions, proof-of-value engagements, and architecture reviews for enterprise customers.


• Support product adoption and customer expansion initiatives by integrating cloud and AI solutions into broader transformation strategies.


• Collaborate with sales, customer success, engineering, and partner teams to scope, execute, and optimize technical engagements.


• Create reusable technical assets, playbooks, templates, and delivery frameworks to improve operational scalability and consistency.


• Contribute to partner-led initiatives and cloud adoption programs in collaboration with AWS and related ecosystem stakeholders.


• Maintain visibility into project risks, dependencies, and engagement milestones while ensuring strong execution discipline.


• Champion AI-native ways of working and contribute to continuous improvement of field engineering operations and delivery practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cloud architecture, field engineering, technical consulting, or solutions delivery within customer-facing environments.


• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS cloud services and real-world enterprise implementations.


• Practical experience building or supporting AI and GenAI solutions using technologies such as Amazon Bedrock, RAG architectures, vector databases, and AI orchestration frameworks.


• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as AWS CDK or equivalent deployment frameworks.


• Strong understanding of modern cloud-native architectures, APIs, and scalable production systems.


• Experience leading technical workshops, implementation engagements, architecture reviews, or proof-of-value initiatives.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge technical and business conversations.


• Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with strong prioritization and execution capabilities.


• Collaborative mindset with experience working across sales, delivery, engineering, customer success, and partner ecosystems.


• Ownership mentality with strong problem-solving skills and proactive risk management.


• AWS certifications and experience with MLOps, Kubernetes, cloud optimization, or platform modernization are considered strong advantages.
