Senior Care Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Worker WITH UK LICENCE AND LIVES IN CUMBERNAULD to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a genuine passion for providing high\-quality care within a care home environment. This role involves supervising and supporting care staff, developing personalised care plans, and ensuring residents' wellbeing is prioritised at all times. Duties

• Supervise and support care staff to deliver exceptional care services tailored to residents’ individual needs


• Assist in the development, implementation, and review of personalised care plans in collaboration with residents and their families


• Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and medication management


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe environment for residents and staff


• Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and team members through effective communication


• Organise activities that promote social engagement and mental wellbeing among residents


• Maintain accurate records using IT systems for documentation, care planning, and reporting purposes


• Lead by example in promoting best practices within the care home setting

Qualifications

• Proven experience in senior care or a similar role within a care home environment


• Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively


• Strong leadership skills complemented by excellent communication abilities


• Knowledge of developing and managing care plans tailored to individual needs


• Proficiency in IT systems relevant to healthcare documentation and communication tools


• Valid driving licence is advantageous for transportation duties


• Compassionate nature with a commitment to delivering person\-centred care


• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and adapt to changing circumstances
