Job Opportunity
As a Senior Care Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day delivery of high-quality care and providing leadership throughout your shift.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting Care Practitioners during each shift
- Ensuring safe, effective, and person-centred care is delivered at all times
- Administering and managing medication in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
- Monitoring residents' wellbeing and escalating concerns appropriately
- Supporting the implementation and review of care plans
- Acting as a role model and mentor for junior team members
- Liaising with healthcare professionals, relatives, and members of the wider multidisciplinary team
- Supporting the Management Team in the smooth day-to-day running of the home
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience within a residential, nursing, or dementia care setting
- Confidence leading shifts and coordinating care delivery
- Strong understanding of person-centred care
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A commitment to delivering high standards of care
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health & Social Care
- Experience administering medication
- Previous supervisory or senior care experience
