Job Opportunity

As a Senior Care Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day delivery of high-quality care and providing leadership throughout your shift.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting Care Practitioners during each shift

  • Ensuring safe, effective, and person-centred care is delivered at all times

  • Administering and managing medication in accordance with company policies and procedures

  • Maintaining accurate care records and documentation

  • Monitoring residents' wellbeing and escalating concerns appropriately

  • Supporting the implementation and review of care plans

  • Acting as a role model and mentor for junior team members

  • Liaising with healthcare professionals, relatives, and members of the wider multidisciplinary team

  • Supporting the Management Team in the smooth day-to-day running of the home

Essential Skills

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Previous experience within a residential, nursing, or dementia care setting

  • Confidence leading shifts and coordinating care delivery

  • Strong understanding of person-centred care

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • A commitment to delivering high standards of care

Desirable
  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health & Social Care

  • Experience administering medication

  • Previous supervisory or senior care experience

  • Personal Qualities
