Hourly Rate: £15\.50–£15\.70 per hour \+ 40p mileage \+ Fully Paid Travel time

Right at Home Stevenage, Bishop’s Stortford \& Braintree is recruiting an ambitious, caring Senior Care Assistant to join our growing team. We deliver high\-quality, trusted care that supports adults to live comfortably in their own homes.
Role Overview
As a Senior Carer, you will support the Care Manager to ensure our Care Assistants deliver exceptional care during a minimum of 45\-minute visits. Your role will include mentoring staff, support of onboarding new clients, delivering hands\-on care, and completing essential office tasks.

You are calm, patient, detail\-focused, and committed to excellent care. You’re adaptable, open\-minded, and confident in blending your experience with our policies while suggesting improvements. You take pride in supporting others, asking for guidance when needed, and acting as a role model for the team.

- Building relationships with client families and care professionals
- 12\+ months hands\-on care experience
- Working towards or holding Level 2 QCF/NVQ (preferred, not essential)
- Upbeat verbal, written and face to face communication style
- UK driving licence with access to a car (Essential)
- We promote from within where possible, offering training and development for those looking to progress into roles such as Care Coordinator, Care Supervisor, or Care Manager.
- Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to own vehicle
- Be able to offer availability either early mornings (from 7am), afternoon (from 2pm) and every other weekend
- Commit to attending a 3\-day training course
- Live locally to Stevenage, Letchworth \& Hitchin and surrounding areas
- Have or be willing to obtain business vehicle insurance
