Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Worker to join our team at Glynbargoed House.

We are a 24 Bed EMI Residential Home.

Occupancy is around 17\-20\.

This role is vital in ensuring the highest standard of care and support is provided to our residents throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise care team, ensuring all duties are carried out to a high standard.


• Provide personal care and support to residents in line with their individual care plans.


• Administer and record medication in accordance with policies and procedures.


• Monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to any emergencies


• Complete accurate documentation and handovers.


• Ensure health, safety, and safeguarding standards are consistently met.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care setting is essential.


• NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health \& Social Care is essential Or working towards Level 3


• Administration of medication


• Experience in supervising or leading a team.


• Good communication and record\-keeping skills.


• Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering person\-centered care.
