At Lindley Park, we're looking for an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team and play an important role in delivering exceptional care to our residents.
You'll be a trusted member of the team — supporting residents, guiding Care Assistants and helping ensure every shift runs smoothly.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll be an important part of the team and someone both residents and colleagues can rely on.
You'll:
- Lead by example and support Care Assistants to deliver excellent care
- Provide person\-centred personal care with dignity, respect and compassion
- Administer and manage medication safely and accurately
- Support colleagues with guidance, advice and best practice
- Build strong, trusting relationships with residents and their families
- Review, update and develop care plans as residents' needs change
- Work closely with GPs, district nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals
- Recognise changes in residents' wellbeing and escalate concerns appropriately
- Ensure care records and documentation are accurate and up to date
- Help maintain high standards throughout the home
- Support the smooth running of each shift
- Be a reliable source of knowledge, support and leadership for the wider care team
You'll need:
- NVQ Level 2 in Health \& Social Care
- Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant, Senior Carer or in a lead care role
- Experience working in a residential or nursing home
- Confidence with medication and care documentation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A professional, positive and proactive approach
- A genuine passion for supporting older people
