Location: Leicester (Thurmaston) – Hybrid Working Available
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 Basic Salary (DOE) \+ Car Allowance \+ Uncapped Commission
Realistic OTE: £50,000 – £65,000\+

We’re looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Business Development Manager to help drive our next stage of growth.
This is a full\-cycle sales role combining new business development, account ownership and account growth. You’ll be responsible for winning new customer accounts, developing long\-term relationships and identifying opportunities to grow revenue over time.
Unlike many sales roles, you’ll retain ownership of your customer relationships after account opening and work closely with our Operations team to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking and inbound enquiries
- Building and managing your own sales pipeline
- Running online and face\-to\-face customer meetings
- Preparing proposals, quotations and supporting tender opportunities
- Opening and onboarding new customer accounts
- Managing and growing customer relationships
- Identifying upsell and cross\-sell opportunities
- Working closely with Operations to ensure successful service delivery
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and sales forecasts
- Proven experience in B2B business development, commercial sales or account management
- Experience generating new business opportunities and managing a full sales cycle
- Experience developing and growing customer accounts
- Strong relationship\-building and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and a solutions\-focused approach
- Experience with proposals, quotations, RFQs or tender processes would be advantageous
- Experience within logistics, transport, facilities management, engineering services, telecoms, business services or similar B2B service environments would be beneficial
- Full UK driving licence
- £35,000 – £45,000 basic salary (DOE)
- Uncapped commission
- Realistic OTE £50,000 – £65,000\+
