Accountabilities:
- Manage and grow strategic enterprise accounts within the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with executive stakeholders, procurement teams, and technical decision-makers.
- Lead commercial discussions related to contract renewals, upsell opportunities, cross-sell initiatives, and account expansion strategies.
- Own revenue targets, forecasting activities, and commercial pipeline visibility across assigned accounts.
- Identify growth opportunities and proactively drive strategic account development initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Delivery Managers, engineers, architects, and leadership teams to align commercial objectives with delivery capabilities.
- Facilitate transparent communication around project risks, operational concerns, and client expectations.
- Lead complex or sensitive client conversations with confidence, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Contribute to improving internal collaboration processes between account management, sales, and delivery functions.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing enterprise or strategic accounts in consulting, technology, software services, AI, data, or related industries.
- Strong track record of driving account growth through renewals, upsells, and commercial expansion initiatives.
- Experience managing executive-level stakeholder relationships and conducting commercial negotiations.
- Ability to operate independently in fast-paced and evolving business environments with a strong ownership mentality.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic mindset combined with practical execution capabilities and strong business acumen.
- Ability to proactively identify risks, challenge constructively, and drive decisions forward.
- Experience collaborating with delivery, engineering, or technical teams within professional services environments is highly valued.
- Familiarity with AI, analytics, data science, or digital transformation initiatives is considered a strong advantage.
- Pharma or biotech industry experience is preferred.
- Comfortable working within remote-first and highly autonomous organizational cultures.
